Zillertal Bike Path

This is the ideal route for leisurely excursions with the whole family: Mayrhofen is the starting point of the Zillertal Bike Path, which leads 31 km through the sunny valley to Strass. Along this path, you will pass the municipalities of Ramsau, Zell am Ziller, Aschau, Kaltenbach, and Uderns. Therefore, there are plenty of opportunities to stop for refreshments or discover the local sights and attractions.

Penken Panorama Tour

Now it's time to head up the mountain! The tour on Mayhofen's local mountain starts at an elevation of 1,800 m. To reach the starting point, you don't have to overcome a strenuous climb, because the Penken lift will comfortably take you there. This panoramic tour leads over 8 km up to the Penkenjoch an at elevation of almost 2,100 m.

The route includes fascinating views and gorgeous passages through the Zillertal mountains. Ambitious bikers can extend the tour if they choose. For the easiest variation of this tour, you should plan for around 2 hours.
